Howdy!

I joined this group to find out different opinions on speaker. I've owned nothing but McIntosh speakers because I loved line array speakers. I'm getting ready for a change and I'm keeping an open mind looking for next speaker.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome to AC  :thumb:
The best LAs came from Bob Carver
You would check the Carver Amazing Silver 48'' ribbon or Platinum 60'' ribbon both from 1990s.
Also Carver ALS around 2015.

Welcome to the forum . Btw Greg Takesh from GT Audio Works is debuting a new 6 1/2ft planar magnetic/ribbon speaker at CAF in November to be called the Giulietta Bellissima after his late wife, and will be paired with his matching OB active subs and 1000w outboard bass amps. However if that model is over your budget, Greg informed me he is working on a less expensive 2-way model which he is hoping to debut at CAF alongside the Giulietta Bellissima fyi - https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=192467.0

Maybe consider the SF Audiophile Foundation if you’d like to hear differences in real systems.
