In wall speakers
« on: 17 Aug 2025, 01:57 am »
Hi from New Zealand, I have just arrived here after spending some months researching in wall speakers and working through the miasma of issues to be encountered.
There are limited options available here and many of them are quite expensive for what you actually get for our weak dollar.
I am of course now thinking of building my own version of these after researching and viewing some of the videos offered by Danny.
I would like to tailor these for music listening and the option of home theater.
Has anyone else here had any experience and/or advise with this type of setup.?.
Kind regards   -  Geoff

My friend is using Kef ceiling speakers and a Kef in-wall sub in his kitchen which is powered by a Simaudio streaming amplifier, and I have to say that setup rocks on electronica. I'm not sure which model speakers he's using, but I believe they were upper range models.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
