I know they were running about 4 weeks but check with Jim Spence.  jspence@bryston.com ...

I'm sorry to say that Jim Spence never answered my email. It has now been more than nine weeks since I bought this amplifier and the only thing I have from Bryston so far are broken assurances. I'm a long-time Bryston fan but this is not a good look for Bryston. It's sad, really.

Hi James

If it is order 4B 19 BLK it shipped this morning to Toronto.
We were backlogged when this was ordered.
Going forward ETA is 3 weeks to build then shipping.

Jim Spence

Hi Cleeds - you should have it next week.
Really sorry for the delay.

I'm sorry, I just don't know who to believe anymore. After a 6-week delay, I was told:

On 8/14 (by the dealer) that it would ship "next week."
On 8/19 (by the dealer) that it would ship "next week."
On 9/3 (by the dealer) that it was "in transit."
Now I'm told it's on it's way to Toronto.

I appreciate your help James, but this remains a very sad look.

We drive it down to Toronto in our truck and it goes to our USA shipping depot.
I will try and get you the Tracking number this weekend.

Thank you. I do appreciate it. I realize a lot is involved and that Bryston is a small company. I've been a loyal Bryston customer since I bought a 3B  back in 1984. A friend is still enjoying it! I have a BDP-3 and a BDA3 in my rack - all bought new from my dealer. Great units!
