I've been a member for quite some time, but have not posted.  I made a dive into the audiophile world for quite a while, but as of recent just have not had the time to enjoy my equipment.  Rather than to let it sit, I will likely sell everything.  I'll likely try a slightly different route if/when I do delve back into the hobby regardless.  With that said, you'll likely see my Odyssey Audio Stratos Extreme Monos, Candela, Rythmik F12G's, and possibly some other items on the trading post.

When you get back in suggest active monitors.  For a low budget/smaller room suggest JBL 305 Mk2 or 306 Mk2 at roughly $400/pair.  Save the cost of power amps and speaker cables.  With high resolution low voltage pre-amp and amps dedicated to each driver their sound is very good.  For higher price suggest JBL 708P, Buchardt A10, Kii3, or Dutch & Dutch 8C.  All of these provide all the bass you'll need along with built-in DAC and room EQ with prices up to $15,000.  Active monitors are used in nearly all recording and mixing studios.  Just add a source and be done.
