I invested in some top notch electronics and that made all the difference. Better cabling made a surprising, no stunning improvement (Black Cat Cable Setsuna level 2) and Cardas Clear Beyond XL on each component.
Most recently I upgraded to Well Tempered 254 GT turntable and Grado Aeon cart. I don’t do digital music.
The TT and cart upgrade were stunning. Backgrounds became jet black and the
Minute detail is on full display! And our VMPS speakers can represent every bit of that improvement.
It is truly amazing.
If you are thinking you need a speaker upgrade outside VMPS I’d strongly urge you to look at improving upstream electronics and cabling instead. These speakers are supremely capable of reproducing whatever you throw at them!
