I am selling my beloved Salk Songtower QWT w Ribbon Tweeter. I purchased these directly from Salk in 2009 and have babied them ever since. Please note that this version has a LCY ribbon tweeter which was an upgrade option. At some point, they switched over to Raal for their RTs. Be forewarned that the ribbon is scary good on female vocals. This is what I will miss most about these speakers. These are in American Curly Cherry with a machined aluminum baffle. If you take a close look at the pix you will see some really cool textures in the veneer. They are still shiny.
Inspecting them, I really don't see any cosmetic issues other than maybe a few very light scuffs on the plinths. The only thing I would point out is there is a small yellowish line on the top of one speaker but I'm pretty sure that is part of the wood grain and has always been there. I tried to capture in last pic (at USAM link) if you can see it.
Obviously a local sale (Salem, OR) would be ideal given the size and weight, but I am willing to ship at buyer's expense. I have all the original boxes. If you want to reach out and discuss shipping, we can look at options and costs as it would be 120lb. If you are in the Pacific Northwest, you are welcome to audition or we can do a meet up somewhere to reduce driving.
