Hello,

I have been trying unsuccessfully to stop the continual error "Bryston DB Crash Detected" with Manic Moose on my BDP-2. It all started when I wanted to get the Artist View so I could see and browser my collection on my NAS using the album covers vs simply the file folder view. The default file folder view works just fine. To enable Artist View the on screen instructions are to enable Bryston DB and do a Reset DB. I did that and immediately received the error after only 4%. I have a USB scratch drive connected which I formatted directly using the Main Moose interface and it's showing 1% used so space isn't an issue. Even after disabling Bryston DB that darn error persists and will not go away.

This is my 1st time trying to re-setup Artist View and enabling Bryston DB since bringing my system back online after almost 5 years. My firmware is up to date and Artist View and resetting of the Bryston DB all worked fine for years prior to me moving away from my system for those years.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be going on and how I at least stop this error message from constantly displaying but preferably how do I get Artist View working again and get teh Bryston DB to build.

Thanks

Reflashing your CF card may help.

Bryston may be able to send you a card for a small fee.  Been awhile since I had to do it.
