BP-3 phono stage
« on: 26 May 2025, 12:57 am »
Hello everyone,
A year ago, I bought a vintage Luxman turntable along with a Cambridge Audio Alva Solo phono preamp. Since switching to vinyl, I’ve noticed that I no longer listen to digital music. So I think it’s time for an upgrade, and I’m planning to buy a new phono stage. Naturally, it will be a Bryston—just like the rest of my stereo system.

I have two questions about the Bryston BP-3 phono stage:
1/Does it incorporate the Cubed Series technologies found in Bryston power amplifiers?
2/I plan to use the MPS-2 power supply with the BP-3. Is the cable that connects the BP-3 to the MPS-2 included with the phono stage?

Thanks

Hello Z.

1. No - see the sticky post from James for the notable features.
2. No, but others have inquired with Bryston support and obtained the correct cable.
