I’ve been able to talk myself out of buying a new amp. Still nothing wrong with the Omegastar 240 I use. After reading that I really want to hear the NP.

Found the ECM CD online...on its way...this will be a real test for me as I get that same emotion from vinyl (Vision Q+ Phono Preamplifire) but am not certain my current digital setup delivers all the goods so this will be a good test. This type of connection to the music and artists is audio nirvana...you know it when you hear it the first time! Congrats!!!

Didn't get to it last night, but listening now - 192k/32b flac, out of a macbook pro i7 into an OWC Thunderbolt hub into an AVA MK V DAC into a CA1 driving a pair of the last iteration of Dennis Murphy's Affordable Accuracy monitors. I can't make the same comparison Mithat did - I have no recollection of having listened before. I'll just say that typing this is taking quite a bit longer than it should - I pause for extended periods after every 3 or 4 words.

No intention of getting into any theological debates, but I'd say the rapture is definitely here. Or 'hear'.

Hi Mithat,

Nice Blog article!  It is the magic that a revealing audio system brings to the human ears/experience that is so compelling.  I don't know the music that inspired your blog but I have similar experiences on a regular basis with my DVA 750s and 3.7is. 
This weekend I watched the documentary on the making of Who’s Next, one of my favorite albums.  In it they mentioned the influence of the Wall of Sound, Brian Wilson and Pet Sounds on Pete’s bass notes (to be completely owned and rewritten by John Entwistle). So naturally I followed that by watching the documentary on the Wrecking Crew. Which lead me to Glenn Campbell’s Wichita Lineman on (Gasp) Spotify.  Spotify listed a plethora of covers.  One such cover was from Johnny Cash. I am not much of a JC fan, but I played it out of curiosity.  I was absolutely floored by the performance and experienced a real thrill from listening to that version.

And yes, that is what audio is supposed to do.  Thanks AVAHIFI!
