In praise of AVA
« on: 11 May 2025, 01:48 am »
I've recently purchased a couple of AVA products and was very impressed with the attention, promptness and sincerity I received when I emailed a question about delivery. I've also been impressed with how some of my recent technical questions were answered in a very thorough way by AVA on this forum. As an old geezer I haven't often experienced this kind of company ethic since the seventies. These days you're lucky to get a reply from most companies and if you do it's days later. As I presently have the set 120 control amp I've seen, and heard the quality of their equipment, and I fear with the new gear on order I may be in danger of turning into a fanboy. Well, I guess this is the right place for it if I do.

From one old geezer to another - If it's wrong to be a fan of a company that does business the way AVA does, I don't want to be right!

I'll add an emphatic and enthusiastic 'second' to every thing said here.

And 'hear'!

AVA business ethics are above reproach. I had dealings with then from 1978 until 2010’s. I only stopped because I decided to focus on the highest quality two channel systemI  could afford:

PassLabs xp-32, Bryston 28 squareds, Well Tempered 254 GT turntable with Grado Aeon cart, Hagerman Reference Trumpet with pre 1956 Mullard tubes, and a full loom of Black Cat Setsuna level 2 cabling Cardas ClearBeyond XL power cords. Speakers interestingly, are VMPS RM-30 which were $7k new in 2010. Direct sales model like AVA. Otherwise I imagine they would have been about 24,000.

Buy from AVa with complete confidence
