Hi,
I have a Marantz PM-KI Ruby, in mint condition. It is about 4 years old. Only selling because I am moving on to a tube amp. This amp will be a collectors item. It has Ken Ishiwata's signature engraved into the top of the front panel. It was supposedly his last design and build before he retired and died.
Price is $2350., I will split shipping and pay pal fees. I also take Venmo. I have the original shipping boxes, manual and paper work.
It is in black, pictures upon request.
This amp has beautiful tone and midrange. Piano and vocals sound awesome. The amp does lean a little to the warmer side since it was built and voiced my the Marantz master, Ken Ishiwata. He liked a warmer, musical midrange. It is totally non fatiguing and I can listen to this amp for hours on end. Bass is strong, controlled and deep. Treble is very smooth and non fatiguing. I will miss it. I am only selling because I want a high end tube amp . It is a strong 100wpc at 8 ohms and 200 wpc at 4 ohms.
Comes with a remote.

Marantz PM-KI Ruby
$3999
With its companion SA-KI SACD/CD player, the PM-KI constitutes the famous Ken Ishiwata’s valedictory work, representing four decades of electronics that place musical beauty and naturalness over laboratory accuracy. Ecumenical when it comes to tubes versus transistors, the PM-KI exhibits some of the warmth, richness, and dimensionality traditionally associated with tubes together with the precision, definition, transient attack, bottom-end extension, and impact for which solid-state is prized, while its 100Wpc should satisfy all but head-bangers. Its onboard mm/mc phonostage is so good it obviates the need for a separate one. Ishiwata considers the Ruby components his finest work.
