I don't.  Years ago I was looking at amps and found a number to call that reached his home.  You might check with Music For Pleasure they used to display some of Clayton's product.

Larry Clayton Audio are Class A and sound very good, I'd imagine you'd love them.  I heard more of the amps were sold overseas opposed to the U.S.

I would like to know if the company is still in business.  I'd suspect a couple showings at an audio show would get the company a boost.  they were always sort of a niche company remaining small.

I did some checking and Clayton Audio is indeed out of business as of sometime mid 2000's but I couldn't find an exact date or what happened to the owner.  I bet Duane at MFP would know.

One other search shows an old thread on Audiogon where they say as of 2012 Clayton was in business but the link to a distributor is for sale, the website.  A guy named Mitch2 is supposed to be a member on AC so maybe he will see this post and chime in.  He seemed to be the one with the information at the other thread.

It sure seems like Shen dropped out of sight when the company closed.  I wonder if he left the country.

Bryan, my next amp is probably going to be an Ayon Scorpio tube integrated amp if I can get a good deal on a used one.  They pop up from time to time.  There were 2 on audiogon.  The timing is wrong as I am going to down size in 2 years and sell everything except my DAC, TT, phono pre and my subs.   Ayon is a European company that sells more in Europe.  Their amps are spectacular.  Then I am going to probably buy a pair of the Buchardt E50 speakers.  I am also keeping an eye on Gallion audio and see what they have at that  time for tube amps.

Based on what I remember when he was at my house, if Wilson Shen is alive today he is likely in his 70's.

From 2009 this is the email I used when I had my M200 & M300's.
