Hello, I am new here.  I am going to be moving across the country this summer and my wife has agreed to let me make the new house's living room into our listening room.  I am here to research equipment and room treatment as I plan things out.

Remember, enjoying the music comes first many times you won't know what you want or whether to believe the hype until you hear it,
the most important part is matching your speakers to your room and your taste most speakers are pretty good these days.
Listening comes first and measurements are there to confirm what your ears hear. Matching the whole front end system to your speakers is important as well.
