I am selling the 400R that was Frank's personal unit he used to develop the amp, prior to adding the IEC power inputs. I will document my emails with Frank on this only upon receipt of an acceptable offer.
.It remains in the same excellent conditon and sounds as he described (the only "chassis scuff", as he called it, being a small ding in a heatsink fin (see photo), but for new binding posts that I replaced after overtightening them.
Frank had harsh words for me ("ham handedness") when I called to "confess" my sin and ask for guidance on the posts. He damn sure loved his work, truly valued what he created and produced, but was impatient with folks like me that did not use better common sense. After his scolding, he gave me helpful and "forgiving" directions to solve the problem. May God Rest and Keep His Soul.
We are downsizing after 54 years of marriage and I am parting with Frank's amp, 4 sets of tubes (three new), Herbie's Dampers, plus Kimber Select ks 1030 interconnects after losing an argument here that came out with a score of one-to-one.

- One pair (one meter) Kimber Select ks 1030 interconnects, like new, but without either Pelican case nor wood logo pieces. I Beta tested them and they were at least 90% of final production model to me, so
discounting to half or less of current used sold prices of $1000 or more.
