GR Research NX Studios with custom stands and over the top Crossover parts. I am the second owner of these. No expense spared on internal parts, binding posts are Cardas solid copper, all internal wiring is UniCrystal™ OCC Copper from VH audio and the crossover network uses Path resistors, V-Cap (ODAM w/ V-Cap CuTf bypass) on the tweeter (upgraded after the initial photo was taken), Copper foil caps w/ Duelund silver bypass on the woofer, & full set of foil inductors. The stands are built from solid walnut, with through dowel joint reinforcement. They are fit with threaded inserts for 1/4" footers on the bottom (the Gia's pictured are not included) and isolating brass spikes on the top. The rear of the stands have a micrometer adjustment system (literally parts from an optic supply house) to dial in tilt. The NX Studios rest on 1.5" thick solid walnut end-grain butcher block slabs damped with shore-40D sorbothane sheeting; resulting in a solid interface and delicate 1/4" floating reveal. These are both visually and acoustically stunning. The parts alone cost more than the asking price. One speaker has cracks in the veneer, (could be seasonal) that I tried to capture in the photos. Fantastic sound and imaging from these. 2000.00 dollars. Local pick up in CT. only, Demo available.

Must not buy... must not buy....

I am very tempted!  But the only rooms I have left for speakers are the bathrooms and I don't think these would fit, lol.
