Hi guys!  I was admiring these beautiful speakers and had a thought… Has GR looked into switching to printed wave guides for all the NX series speakers?  I’m not sure if a single wave guide would work for both the open baffle and closed cup scenarios, but it might simplify the flat pack baffles.
There are no plans to swap everything to this waveguide.
They are not interchangeable and we have no plans to offer a removable OB waveguide.
The NX-Bravo waveguide was designed around using a sealed tweeter, while the other waveguides were optimized for open-baffle use.

Hobbs, how about using the deeper / 950Hz waveguide for the NX-Bravo, like the Center?  Is that an option?

Not without completely redesigning the crossover.
The main reason for the deeper waveguide was we needed a little more bottom end out of the Tweeter to better match the higher efficiency of the woofers.

Living in Europe I think I’d have bigger worries than a trade war with the US. I wouldn’t be too worried about that.

Your builds are astounding.
Europe ain’t a trade war starter, your man started it all. Sad for all of us.

I bet they could print them.  I am sure they have a file.  I actually went down to pick up some stuff and seen them being printed.  That printed gets a heck of a workout.

We currently only have printable waveguides used for the NX-Bravo and the larger Tower/center models.
We haven't developed one that is well suited for both sealed or OB use yet.
