Isn't there a switch on back of speakers that allows speakers down to 18hz🤔. My pair did,used to  crank Dirty Diana by MJ when I owned a pair.

I was looking them over pretty close the other day and didn't see anything like that. I do have a Carver "Loudspeaker Control System" which is a device that sits between the preamp and power amp and allows control of bass treble and has a few other features including "Sonic Holography."
