I have an addiction, yes. It all started in the 70's.
I bought a Sansui 221 with Radio Shack Realistic speakers with a BSR turntable.
Then I added a cassette deck and recorded all my albums and FM radio stations. It was great! I still have those cassettes.
Until this day, I am still addicted to the love of audio, the instruments that go along with reproducing music.
I'm hooked!🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🫡

I've been hooked since the 70s too.  Maybe the 60s but I didn't know what hi-fi was then.  I'm still trying to figure it out.

Don't we all?  I started in the 60's as a pre-teen, very meagerly and by college had jumped from Pioneer/JBL to McIntosh/Nakamichi/Fried.  After college went to Hafler and beyond.  Then death of my son and subsequent divorce lead to a severe downsizing.  Soon found the internet and got back into the high-end.  Built a listening room and changed gear several times.  Recently we moved to a smaller home and had to give up in-room listening to go back to headphones.

Hi Guys,

I started in the 1970's with a cheap 3 in 1. Well at the time it wasn't cheap for me lol. I had a break in the early 1980's when I was in the Airforce. But I then bought a Nad 3240 integrated amp, Monitor Audio rm352 speakers and a Rega 2 turntable.

Many years later I am still in the game and listening to my music (mainly vinyl).
