Hi from the UK
« on: 25 Jan 2025, 12:03 pm »
Saying hello here from the UK.

in my 50's now and have been into buying stereo gear since i was about 6 :) Started with a 70s turntable in a box with enclosed speakers, the ones where you could stack a dozen or so 7 inches on the spindle and watch them drop. During my 20s and 30s I rotatated systems faitrly frequently, mostly UK manufactured and whatever Richer Sounds recommended at the time. Then in my 40s and the explosion of Youtube reviews and the greater access to streamimg, my purchases became a little more exotic and I have to say better in terms of SQ.

Last November was my first foray into open baffles when I picked up a pair of Spatial Audio M3 Turbo S which I think are pretty hard to come by over here in the UK. They're the only pair of USA manufactured Spatial Audio speakers of any model I have seen on the s/h market in the UK. My research into those led me to this site and a deep dive into the Spatial circle posts. Glad to be here.
