I just purchased this Dac recently but unfortunately it doesn't fit my system -- mainly my speakers. I'm sad because I lusted after this Dac and hate to give it up. This Dac was originally purchased directly from JK Richards (RichardsElectro) after upgrades installed. It looks lto be in very good cosmetic condition and sounds amazing. Includes everything that came with the unit when new including factory packing. BRIDGE II IS NOT INCLUDED

This DAC has had major upgrades to correct it's deficiency from the factory.
Updates / upgrades
1) Transformer replacement. Replaced the Edcor 150 150 cheap transformers with custom premium APS nickel core transformers designed specifically for these MK1 DAC's to meet extreme audiophile requirements. These transformers also brings up the gain to standard levels as we wired them in 1:2, giving the DAC more dynamics.
2) VOCM upgrade. The VOCM of these units did not have a low enough impedance for the opamps used. We corrected this by adding very high quality caps. on each opamp power circuit which lowered the impedance to the correct amount.
3) RF.EMI shielding was added where needed and was also placed behind the touch screen. This lowers any noise from entering critical circuits.
4) installed a SR Purple fuse in the DAC.
We can also include a set of our Digital Noise Eliminator plugs. (1-USB-B & 1-HDMI i2s) for addition fee
We have been comparing this DAC with the new Terminator II 12th and the NEW Directstream MK2 and the sound quality is better in this unit. Yes... We and many others feel this one is superior to the just released MK2. This one Also the volume level between PCM and DSD files are the same unlike the Terminator which has far inferior DSD sound quality.
