New and intimidated
« on: 4 Jan 2025, 09:00 am »
Hello All
Happy new year ! Have often read but never posted. Guess that like many who have landed here I am here cause I need guidance.
Have been enjoying sound through our common passion for Hifi for a moment now..some 20 years since I first bought my first system.
Hope to be able to understand how to go around in this moutain of knowledge.

Welcome aboard!  This hobby like most doesn’t need to be complicated or intimidating. You don’t need to go deep to get started and find enjoyment. But you certainly can get sucked in and lose perspective.  Don’t be afraid to ask questions and nothing is too simple.  You may get a lot more help than you need but you won’t be stranded.

Listen to toocool4.  One thing I'll add is try to visit some nearby audiophiles and listen to their systems.  What part of the world are you in?  There maybe Audiocircle members near you.

Ask away, don't be intimidated, stay positive and enjoy the music.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
