New batteries for Dodd 24V Preamp

New batteries for Dodd 24V Preamp

Its time for new batteries for my Dodd 24V preamp. Would it be a good or bad idea to buy the Lithium LiFePO4 batteries available? I would probably have to change the 24V charger made for LiFePO4, however they seem readily available. I am still using the 4 batteries installed internally to the preamp. TIA.

No, we have tried using them, and they do not sound good.
