Hey everyone I’m a new member putting my first real system together current setup is a Lyngdorf TDAI-2170 with KEF Meta R3 I’m looking for some nice floor standing speakers and a decent cd transport. Considering Revival Audio Atalante 5 or similar doing a lot of listening and research. I grew up on original Ohm F speakers driven by Adcom GFA-555 which eventually got upgraded to Walsh 5000 drivers I believe the conversion was called an F5000 at the time. I have the original Ohm F drivers although one is blown and I’m sure by now the other one has failed as it’s been sitting for years. I always dreamed of rebuilding those original drivers but it’s mostly sentimental. I listen to Rock and Jazz, low volume listening is important and I’m also using my system for 2.1 AV so that’s what I’m after for floor standers. I like vintage gear and exploring DIY also but sometimes you just want it now…
