Kyocera R461

I haven't been here in a while...
I have a Kyocera R-461. It is pushing 40 years old. I sent it to Soundsmith in NY about ten years ago for a check. They repaired a few things. The unit works but I am wondering if it is time to replace it. All electronic components degrade with time but it can be gradual so the listener may not notice. I love the warm, full 80s sound of the Kyocera. Thinking about replacing with an NAD or a Marantz. Any thoughts would be helpful,

Do you have a budget in mind? What speakers is the receiver driving?

Do you want a receiver (amp, preamp, and tuner), an integrated amp (amp + preamp), or would you replace the Kyocera with a separate preamp and amp?

Do you want the new box to have streaming services built in?

From a search, it looks like that unit is a tuner.  When I listened to FM, I had a vintage Sansui tuner modified by Joseph Chow (I don't believe he mods them at this point).  There's a thread over here (and at places all over the web and it is old ) - https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=60937.0  and it has info on various places which may or may not still be around.  There are also internet radio stations (some info here - https://www.hiresaudio.online/cd-quality-internet-radio/) which broadcast in CD quality FLAC and above.  That would of course require an internet radio tuner (I have not followed or kept on on hardware - my Lumin music server uses TuneIn radio - https://tunein.com/).  There's also the used market for Kyocera stuff - e.g. https://www.hifishark.com/search?q=kyocera

Todays Tuners do not have that warm sound you are talking about. I used to love that sound and still have some vintage late 1970's and early 80's Hitachi Tuners.  I have a Luxman T110 from 1977 that I bought used a few years ago but it was refurbished with new caps and it is bright sounding.
