Isolation in Bryston devices
« on: 15 Dec 2024, 05:48 pm »
Are the BDP and BDA devices galvanically isolated from input to output? I’m using Ethernet to the streamer and USB from the streamer to the DAC. I’ve not heard any noise yet……

In the old analog days, transformers did a good job isolating stuff

Ok after searching the nasty old internet, I found that the Bryston DAC is isolated from input to output. I should have looked there first. I haven’t found anything about the player yet, but I’ll bet the player output is isolated as well. I’m new to Bryston digital pieces but have had a 3B and 4B for years……".
