Greetings music lovers

I thought I'd join instead of just lurk.  Right now my audio gear has a very 80's and 90's vibe to it.  My living room is running some PSB Stratus Bronze speakers with two RSL Speedwoofer 10mkii subs filling up the low end.  I'm running those with a beefy 120 watts Onkyo AVR (running in 2.2 mode and biamping the PSB) to handle the crossover.  I'm using a Darlington Labs mm6 phono preamp and Sony PS-X7 turntable with a Shure V15 Vmr cartridge.

The bedroom system is in shambles.  I've got some Dahlquist DQ-20i speakers that I need to rebuild, an Adcom 545 mkii amp and a Musical Design SP-2b preamp.  I'm not sure if I'm tackling rebuilding the crossover myself or not.

I'm interested in learning about other speakers like open baffle, tannoy-type speakers and higher sensitivity speakers that may be more dynamic at lower listening levels.

DQ-20 is a famous vintage speaker, in original condition it worth a good price.
