At this point I can only guess.......again, with well over 10,000 amp shipments I've seen pretty much all....one similar thing from years back that I remember : box was dropped big time. Inertia cracked a solder connection at the pre-drivers, as the internal heatsink must have moved in some way....cracked a leg of the predriver or something of that nature....5 minute job, done.
Again:
Cold solder not so much as the amp has been running for a couple of years...could also be that a single part simply decides to act up.......happens, unfortunately, regardless of quality.
Again, call me, but before sending anything back open up the top cover and check all of the cables from the board to the connectors...wiggle them and see that they're solidly connected.
And oh yeah ........TURN OFF THE AMP FIRST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (legal disclaimer)
