Time to thin the herd. I have over 100 5751 black plates, mostly GE and RCA triple micas, so it is time to share a few.
All of these tubes test like-new on my Sencore tester All of the over 250 5751s I have tested scored between 90 and 95.
This is considered full strength for this tube on this tester. Some of my tubes have test results from previous owners.

The 5751 tube is a version of the 12AX7 made especially for the US military beginning in the early 1950s. They were designed to be more rugged, longer lasting, and have lower noise than the standard 12AX7 tube. Maximum output is 75% of the 12AX7, but all other parameters are the same. American tube-making at it's finest.

PAIR 1 $135 plus shipping.   SALE PENDING  SOLD
Raytheon 2 mica black plates with windmill getters, full orange/red 1963 logos, and red painted tips.
These are pretty rare. They are not the vaunted 3 mica black plates, but they are still great tubes, at a better price.

PAIR 2 $90 plus shipping.   SALE PENDING   SOLD
GE 3 mica black plates with extra support rods from the late 1950s.
White logos are almost complete.

PAIR 3 $80 plus shipping.   SALE PENDING   SOLD
GE 3 mica black pates with extra support rods from the late 1950s.
Only traces of white logos remain..

SINGLE 1 $25 plus shipping
RCA 2 mica black plates with extra support rods from the early 1960s.
Full orange/red logos.

I wouldn't hesitate to combine the two GE pairs if you need a quad of these.
I have more GEs if you are looking for something more specific.

All tubes ship in generic white boxes via USPS.

Thanks for your interest.
