Hello all, This is my first post to the community or circle I believe. Just wanted to say that I've followed Danny Richie and GR Research on YouTube for quite sometime and finally decided to give their products a try and I'm certainly glad I did. Bought a pair of pre-assembled X-LS Encores ( with Sonicaps and tube connectors finished with a Cherry veneer). Also bought the matching stands in Cherry. First let me say the cabinets are just gorgeous - but it's the sound. Mated with a pair of REL T/5x subwoofers, the sound is amazing. I've been chasing the audiophile dream since I was 12 years old - some 53 years and this is the closest I've ever been to the sound I want. So count me in as a confirmed believer in what a few quality components improving the signal chain can achieve. I've followed up with purchasing the upgrade kit for my ZU Audio DW6 speakers and then will also upgrade my Magnepan LRS+ speakers. Kudos to Danny and GR Research!

Thanks all. Forgot to mention - this is the first time i've upgraded my system and it actually made want to re-listen to everything I have. Heard others say it, but this is the first out of literally dozens of upgrades that made me actually want to do it. Every recording I have sounds different, more complete, more balanced, more detailed, etc. Thats really something.
