Bryston Remote Trigger Connection Question
« on: 11 Oct 2024, 12:14 am »
Hello,

I was just wondering if it matters if the remote trigger wires being connected to the Bryston products need to be from a stereo cable or mono cable? For years I have just been using common speaker wire as both the Bryston's and my SSP have the bare wire style connector. My new SSP has the 3.5mm style connector so as I was browsing Amazon to pick wire of appropriate length with the intent of cutting off the 3.5 connector from one end to access the bare wires it occured to me that these style cables (referred to as either 12v trigger cables or headphone extension cables) come in both mono and stereo configuration.

Thanks

My 4B³, BP-17³ and BCD-3 are connected with 12v trigger MONO cables.
