Its time to pass on the longest residing audio piece (>7yrs) to someone new so they can experience the legendary Mcintosh sound. No particular reason for selling other than a need to scale down and simplify my system. I bought it thinking it would be a lifetime purchase and may decide to just keep it for the future if I don't get any offers. Its built like a tank and weighs >90lbs due to the massive autoformers therein. It has a phone pre-amp (MM), plenty of analog inputs, remote control, captive AC power cord. Obviously, the beautiful blue meters (their first integrated with them). When I bought it used, I paid >$200 on the box and shipping container so its very securely packaged and triple bolted to its internal box/wood. Expect shipping costs to be quite high. Would love a local buyer for these reasons and I'm located in SF, CA.
Cosmetically in great condition, no chips, scratches or anything more than fingerprints on the glass panel. The remote control was melted a bit on the backside by the prior owner. Does not effect its function.
Known issues: some audible scratchiness from a dirty pot on the audio balance dial (very common).
150 watts x 2
