I have a pair of used OMega's that are in good condition. When I bought them both speakers worked except for the tweeter in one of them. Without one tweeter they sounded extraordinary. I could hear the potential and only imagine how they would sound with a replacement tweeter. I called the factory in NC and they said $500 for a replacement. Now, these are $26,000 speakers, but they are a little tall for my room and they didn't meet the WAF due to the height. I have a lower back concern and I can't play around with these.
I would consider these a project since the tweeter needs replacing, but the upside for someone who doesn't mind tinkering is huge. The factory can also install the tweeter.
They are packed liked the world class speakers they in- in crates. An SCAL sale would be optimum and if the interested party is in another city and wants to pay shipping that's fine.
In terms of price I am open. This isn't about me asking for top dollar. This is about you offering a fair dollar that works for you and you taking them off my hands so I can get space back in the garage and make my wife happy
This speaker is for a special person who craves, appreciates the sound of music and doesn't mind a little work.
