Hi Folks!
« on: 17 Sep 2024, 01:00 pm »
Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to all.  I've been into audio since I was ~ 15 YO (now in my mid-50's ) and have over the years upgraded and added to the system.  I'm now at a point in life where the kids are grown up and off to school full time, and have a bit of time to indulge myself back into audio.  I'm into 2-ch audio (vinyl mostly), but do have a small HT setup in the living room next door to my listening room.

Glad to have found this awesome resource and looking forward to getting to know the folks here and expanding my knowledge.

Greetings & Welcome to AC Brent   :thumb:  Give it 20 more years, then think about being 'old'. Keep that vinyl spinning Sir.  8)

Thank you all!  Yes, old is relative I suppose....although my body will tell you I am definitely "old" and aging fast

Thanks again for the warm welcome, looking forward to learning and getting more involved!

Attended a neighboring audio club meeting to hear the presenter.  Unfortunately it was about HT cabling, but his room was nearly identical to mine at the time (very gratifying).  Surprisingly the crowd was old, like near assisted living old and as a consultant for elder care facilities for 25 years I know of what I speak.

Now I've retired and wear hearing aids.
