Hello to all members !
Came here in search for help regarding this WELL TEMPERED SIGNATURE TURNTABLE from final days of first period of WELL TEMPERED.
I become a fan of these things quite recently , even though I have had numerous really serious turntables in my past 35 years of being an audiophile.
To cut long story short, I bought SIGNATURE turntable with tonearm in what it seemed at first really good condition.
There was some issues with the feets of the turntable itself as well as the spikes beneath the motor, but I solved that in satisfying manner.
I have also had some issues with the belt and platter which keep falling away from the motor, and I resolved that also.
I acquired silicon oil for the bearing and tonearm well in appropriate density..
BUT... I don't have pivot of tonearm to spindle distance data, so I can't finish the adjustment procedure.
Tube of the tonearm is longer that tubes of either the REFERENCE TONEARM or CLASSIC tonearm ( I have both).
Installation position of the tonearm was made in such a manner that following Baerwald or any other curveI can't get far enough with the pivot in order to obtain desired distance from the spindle.
On this SIGNATURE tonearm distance from pivot to center of middle of headshell holes is 261mm, so my pivot to spindle should be around 254mm.
Unfortunately , this is not possible due to the routing of the clearance in the turntable and construction of the bottom part of the tonearm.
So guys... Is anybody here who is able to help me?
Does anyone own one of these tables, and is willing to send me manual in pdf ?
