Selling my Omega Super Alnico High Output XRS speakers with curly walnut veneer. These are custom and differ from the standard model in the following ways:
- 5/8 inch plywood front baffle
- Improved internal damping material
- Upgraded binding posts
Quick & dirty specs: 1.5 way, 97db sensitivity, 4-6 ohms.
These were built in late 2018, delivered to me in early 2019.
Condition is good. I used them with grills on so the veneer isn't as deeply colored beneath, but this area would probably catch-up with the rest of the veneer if the grills were left off for a year or so. There is also a shallow scratch in the veneer where I once accidentally bumped into the grill (see pic).
Local pick-up only in Mt. Horeb WI (near Madison), but happy to audition before purchase. $2700 OBO ($4695 new).
