I recently purchased the Camel Air Born set - a great collection of remastered and, in some cases, remixed, CDs and Blurays of the band's output from 1973-1984. Several of the Blurays include high res 2 channel and 5.1 surround mixes. I'd like to rip the 2 channel high res to FLAC.
I used MakeMKV and it produced mkv files but I couldn't figure out how to convert those FLAC. I then used MakeMKV to create a "backup" file but DVDAE is complaining that these ripped files still have BD+ protection. Is there an option I need to enable or something? It sounded to me like using MakeMKV to create the backup would strip out the protection. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to extract the high res audio from the Bluray disc to FLAC.
