Hi, What does everyone consider the best sounding connection to preamp? Thanks in advance.

While I admit to being a little slow, I can say that your question is a little too vague for me to respond. :icon_surprised:

Balanced XLRs for shielding, but probably doesn't matter vs single ended unless you are running a long distance. Sure someone else with more knowledge will chime in.

One of the advantages of using USB is the DAC controls the quality level of the digital playback rather than the source.

Hi James, OP was asking for best connection from BDA-2 to pre-amp. USB? Am I missing something? I have XLRs connected, so would definitely want to take most advantage to my BP-17^3.
