So, I have an NX-Studio kit. That crossover is pretty simple... 2 caps, 2 resistors, 2 inductors. I thought it might, besides being a great speaker, provide for a great setup for playing with crossover parts. Frederick built these and has done several crossovers for me. I worked with him a making the crossover so the parts are removable. I found tabs that I thought might help. Frederick came up with a nice layout that accounted for the Miflex copper foil cap for the Neo 3 tweeter, which will probably be the largest cap this speaker / crossover will see. We are starting out with Duelund CAST PP caps, Goertz foil inductors, and Duelund resistors. The Duelund resistors aren't easy to accommodate and they are "Fra-Geee-Laaay"... the leads are very delicate. Any other resistors will fit there fine.
For caps, I'll get to know the Duelund on this speaker, then swap in the Miflex cap to see how it compares / burns in. Or, maybe I'll swap in a Jantzen Alumen Z-Cap. For resistors, I'll probably play with Path and maybe Mudorf with the heat sinks... or maybe nothing at all. But the point is - I can do whatever...
The tabs have stripped solid core wire soldered to the backside, so the entire strip can handle multiple connections.
The screws are brass....not magnetic.

The main spine down the middle has solid core wire down the underside, and spacers to lift it off the board - very slightly.
Extra tabs are placed around the perimeter of the board... just because... down the line maybe they / this board can be used for and entirely different speaker.
Sharing here in case it's of interest for how to put stuff together, and make it modular... permanent or not, if wanted.
You can find Frederick here...one of my favorite people!!! -->
