A Vintage Classic!

Uses three 6DJ8 types, one for the line stage and two for its fantastic MM phono stage. Currently fitted with RAM Labs/Ei Yugo Super Low Noise 6DJ8 tubes in the phono section and a Phillips ECG 6922 in the line stage position. Perfect working condition, good to very-good (considering age) physical condition. Lettering on the front and back plates is better than 95% and the top plate is 85% or so. There is some heat discoloration around the LED and the top corners of the faceplate have been slightly banged-up. See the pics. Unit has been serviced with all power caps tested using an Atlas ESR meter, they were fine. The small electrolytic caps had been replaced prior to my ownership with off-brand caps so I went ahead and replaced all of them with Nichicon high-temp caps. There were some discolored (though still working!) resistors that were replaced with higher wattage KOA Speer MO resistors of the same value. The Wondercaps around the discolored resistors were removed and tested on my LCR meter and returned to the preamp once confirmed fine. The external power supply keeps noise down. Totally stock (aside from replaced parts, of course), with no mods.
