Thanks.  I bought and built a pair of your Double Troubles about 5 years ago.  I have used them to fill in he lower end on many speakers I have cycled through since their construction.  I would like to pair them with some DIY full range single driver open baffles.  Any advice would be valuable.

Welcome,  I can’t help with your question, but I have a question for you. How do you like your Double Trouble subs? What other subs have you owned, I ask because I just ordered the same subs. I like to hear comments from others who own them.

I don't even know what to tell you for that type of speaker. We've tested and or listened to just about everything out there in this regard and have yet to find one outside of our LGK's that I could live with at all. As soon as the diaphragm gets very large it looses off axis response in a hurry. The 3" LGK hits a sweet spot of speed, clarity, balance and outstanding sound quality while not sacrificing off axis response.

Check out the LGK kits.
