Hello - just discovered this AudioCircle via GR Research YT channel and then GR Research website.
I suppose I’m an “audiophile” but don’t like that term for several reasons.
Regardless, I enjoy the hobby and learning the nuts/bolts of it, all of which are challenging for me bc I’m zero engineering/tech/mechanical background or upbringing except teaching myself to wrench a motorcycle during the last decade.
From an audio perspective, the equipment I have that’s most relevant to this community — or at least closest to the DIY aspect — are my Fritz speakers (which I love) and Darlington Labs MP8B phono preamp bc they’re both sold without a distributor network and are handmade in small shops.
