About the S-520 center channel: If it were to sit on top of a projection tv, would you still angle the baffle upwards? Or would you flip the speaker over so that it actually pointed downwards?
I would try it both ways and see which you prefer. The tweeter is pretty darn good off axis. But above ear level plus having a pretty good baffle slope is kind of pushing it in my opinion. I've found you can get away with having the center sit unusually low to the ground and still not fall apart as far as finding the speaker during playback. A lot of credit goes to the speaker itself as a whole, but the sloped front baffle does definitely contribute.
Update, only one S-525 center channel available now. It is a demo unit, not a new, sealed unit. Absolutely perfect with ultra low hours. Someone's going to have to break it in it has so few hours.... and no, I don't want to do that for you

I hate breaking in speakers... says the guy trying to break in a pair of VR-4SRs from Von Schweikert...
