Welp...just a heads up for anyone interested in these phones.  Costco now has them for $229, a neat $100 cheaper than when I got 'em two weeks ago. :duh:

Yes, I've learned from expensive experience, never, ever buy a headphone at retail.  Every one of them will be on sale or clearance soon if you simply wait.

Don't worry Rob.  Those Costco headphones are the Px7s2 not the se model.  That is the older version.  The Px72se is much better.

Nice!  Not wishing anyone to get an inferior product, just glad to not get fleeced!  I didn't look close enough, glad I got the newer ones.  :thumb:

If you have some standard 2 pin buds you can get one of these: https://www.null-audio.com/products/nyx-bt5-wireless-in-ear-monitor-cable?_pos=1&_sid=9f70fc0c7&_ss=r

I bought one of these so I could have my ancient Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 buds connected via Bluetooth. I've been extremely happy with it.

"Best" can be pretty subjective, especially with audio!  Just looking for some suggestions.  I am looking to pick up some new Bluetooth headphones.  While they'll be used for watching videos on Youtube and probably films on Amazon and Netflix I want something that can do a credible job with music as well.  I want something closed back and that will be comfortable enough for wear for maybe four or five hours at a time.  ANC is irrelevant to me as I will only use them at home.  While I want something decent I don't intended to supplant loudspeakers, just elevate the quality of my time using headphones, so I want to keep them to around $500 or less.

Thanks for any input!

I have the Sennheiser Momentum 4.  They are excellent.  I also use Sonarworks Sound ID, which really steps up performance.

They are on sale right now.
