These are in good condition. One side is diffractive (and is usually oriented outward) and one side is absorptive. In the photo, the diffractive side is showing, which is why there appears to be white specks on the treatments. This is largely due to the shiny diffractor under the fabric.

I've used a variety of acoustical treatments. These are by far the most versatile and the most user friently. They are easily attached to the wall with push pins. I have some black push pins that I can include.
