Does anyone out there know if either of these will drive a 3 ohm load?

Thanks,
Andy

Which one of your speakers is 3ohm? I thought you were giving away the M8 Mkiv.

I've seen a 1014 run 4 ohm 87 dB (@ 1 watt / 1 meter) speakers just fine. The 1015 has the same amp section as the 1014, so it should perform the same.

I'd guess it'd handle 3 ohm speakers ok, but I can't say for sure as I've not actually tried it.

Thanks, bubba!  That helps a lot.  Looks like I'll be getting one of these in the near future.

Al, I am giving the M8a's away.  It'd be for another project.

One more question re the preouts -- can they be run simultaneously, i.e. with no HT processing time delay?  I want to try to run an active crossover to a three-way and would need six channels of amplification, which this will provide.  But, I need them all run simultaneously...

Thanks,
Andy
