they are 89, and they are sold according to the seller. I almost drove an extra 3 hours to go to CT from NY this weekend to get them, but 1000+ views in 1 day on a-gon had them moving pretty quick.

Wow. That is a lot of views in one day. Very Impressive and a pat on the back for Louis. I have to admit, that even with my Super 3's, Grande 8's, and FE-166ES-R BLH's (still in the production phase). I was a little tempted to add to my growing collection.

Im enjoying mine with the flying mole amps....curious to see how they work with my kt66 triodes when they get back from the shop.,..only 15 watts...but should be enough

ps the alinco are in many ways superior to the original fostex omegas i own and mine are still breaking in ....

I've owned 'stats and planars. I loved their huge soundstage.But they lack dynamics which I missed. There's always a trade-off.

I own the big brother of the F120A drivers, the mighty F200A (8 inch diameter, rated 30 - 20,000 Hz, 90 dB/w/m) in mass loaded transmission line cabinets. I drive mine with a 6 wpc Clari-T, but extra headroom would be nice.

Compared to other Fostex drivers these are much more musical/full bodied with less dynamic or forward of presentation. Nothing else close to $375 each will get you into the 30 Hz neighborhood from a single driver.

The F120A would be great for a small cabinet/room or if you wanted to add a sub.

Thanks for the post and this is an amazing price. The alnicos when set up right sound really great. I would like to try them out with the Clari t too.

I may make a special run of them with Ferrari leather cabinets like the ones I had at the show. I also saw an alnico bookshelf at the Montreal show by a company in Nova Scotia selling for $3500 pair.

If the new owner reads this plaese contact me for the warranty transfer.
