Just joined the forum and see I should introduce myself.
Been doing the audio thing since I was a teen (which was a long while ago). I've always had functional if unspectacular systems that have always served me. I used a Hafler DH200 that I built from a kit in my dorm room for decades. It eventually was replaced so I recapped and cleaned everything up and gave to a friend who loves it. Been playing with guitar tube amps for a while and have a Vellemenn stereo kit in parts and pieces that I'm going to resurrect.
My system now is:
Cambridge Audio DACMagic 200
Mac G5 music server (optical to DAC)
TV-feed (optical to DAC)
Parasound P5 preamp
Krell KAV-500 amplifier
Merrill Thor amp for gutted (amp removed) 12" Polk subwoofer
Daedalus SR823 AND SR1023 pairs, pro-sound speakers
Thats about it. Looking forward to using the board.
