I love tube preamplifiers and amplifiers

I live tube gears much more than solid state ones. My most favorite tube preamps are fisher 50-c and marantz 7c. My must favorite tube amplifiers are mono blocks using 45, 2A3 tubes.

Tubed vintage Marantz machines are rather expensive, his SS brothers are cheap.

Welcome to AC! I inherited Marantz 9 amps in 1990 and sold them… Had no idea what I had  :duh:

Some tube amplifiers can be cheaper than SS. For example, some vintage Eico or Pilot 6v6 tube amplifier can be purchased below 1000 usd.

This is Imagefly2008, and I am from San Francisco Bay Area. I frequently buy and sell audiophile equipment to try different setups. I love both SS and tube preamp/amp. For speakers, I love horn speakers!
