I live in Nashville, TN, on on island since I know no other audiophiles in the city. If you are local and want to chat, please get in touch. I first got the audiophile bug when I dropped out of full-time songwriting several years ago. I figured I had been cranking out my own songs, but now it was time to really appreciate the great music that others have created (and let them do the heavy lifting). I had always invested in guitars and pick ups, but started to invest in 2-channel equipment and headphones. I slowly acquired about 600 albums on Discogs and in brick-and-mortar shops, mostly music from the 60s and 70s, but I stream mostly more contemporary stuff. I have a pair of Spatial M5 Sapphire open-baffle speakers, a Paraound Hint integrated amp and a JC3 Jr phono stage. I have a Technics G1210 turntable with an Orafon LVB 250 MM cartridge. I stream Quobuz through a Bluesound Node. So I guess I am more of a mid-fi wannabe audiophile. My headphones are Sennheiser HD800s and my main headphone amp is a Chord Hugo 2.
