Introducing Myself

Hey everyone, I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Luke and I'm from New England. I've been watching GR-Research YouTube videos for a bit now and am hoping to get more involved with this hobby. A lot of my current audio equipment is budget level, which makes some of the LGK speakers a tempting buy, but I'm still waiting to make any kind of purchase as I'm a broke grad student. I hope to learn as I go and have fun while doing it. Thanks!

My current setup if you're curious:
  • Speakers - Emotiva B1+
  • Headphones - Beyerdynamic DT880 600 ohms
  • Amp - Emotiva BasX A2m
  • Preamp - SUCA Audio Tube T1 w/ 6J1P-EV tubes and 2x Sparkos Labs SS3602 Op Amps
  • DAC - iFi ZEN DAC V2

Welcome!  If you are looking at the LGK series, the 2.1 would make a great college speaker.

Welcome and I agree with Tyson. Any of the LGK speakers are exceptionally good performers. Just because they are the smallest and least expensive of the GR speakers don't underestimate them.
